  • the abbreviated and thus anonymized IP address. The reduction rules out any possibility of reference to a person.
  • the website you last visited (referrer).
  • the web pages you have visited in the LTeW offer.

Notes on web analysis

Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. “( Google ). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, text files which are stored on your computer and which enable an analysis of your use of the website.

However, this will only be done if and insofar as you have given your express consent to this in accordance with Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. a) GDPR. If you have agreed to the processing of your personal data, you can revoke this agreement at any time with effect for the future. Revocation of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent.

The information generated by cookies about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, due to the IP-anonymization on this website, your IP address will be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other states which are parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area before. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there.

On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on the website activities and to provide further services to the website operator in connection with the use of the website and the Internet. Google uses pseudonyms for this purpose. The IP address transmitted by your browser within the framework of Google Analytics is not merged with other data from Google.

Use of the IP address

Computers and devices connected to the Internet are assigned a unique number, called an IP address. Because these numbers are usually assigned in country-based blocks, an IP address can often be used to identify the country (state or city) where this computer connects to the Internet. Google Analytics records the IP addresses of website visitors. This allows the website owner to analyze from which parts of the world his visitors come. This method is called geotargeting of IP addresses.

The actual IP address information is not shared by Google Analytics with Google Analytics customers. The IP mask method is also used: Website owners using Google Analytics can set it so that instead of the entire IP address, only part of it is used for geotargeting. Website owners generally have access to the IP addresses of their website visitors, regardless of the use of Google Analytics.

So-called session cookies are used on the website and all its sub-domains in order to offer users greater convenience. For example, visitors to the LTeW websites can continue an order for brochures that has been started even after switching to another page without having to re-enter their own data. A session cookie is also used for web analysis.

At no time is personal data stored in a cookie.

We set the following cookies on our website and its subdomains:

Necessary cookies (first-party cookies):

Name from domain Duration Purpose
cookie-agreed 3 months Storage of the user’s consent status for cookies on the current domain

Cookies for statistical purposes (third-party cookies):

_gat ttps:// 24 hours Reduction of the requirement rate for statistical analysis of website usage

_ga ttps:// 24 months Distinguishing unique visitors for statistical analysis of website usage

Moreover, most browsers are preset to automatically accept cookies. However, you can deactivate the storage of cookies or set your browser to notify you before cookies are stored. Users who do not accept cookies may not be able to access certain areas of our websites.

You can also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) to Google and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under this link.

LTeW takes precautions to protect your personal data from loss, destruction, falsification, manipulation and unauthorized access. The legal data protection regulations of the Federal Republic of Germany are naturally observed.
